Ephesians (Program #75)-Various Aspects of the Church

Through out the ages, many commentaries had touch the book of Ephesians. It’s an Epistle unlike any other in the Bible for it takes the heavens as its’ view point to unveil the Church, God’s eternal purpose.

Many agreed that this book is the highest revelation in the New Testament regarding God’s eternal purpose.  Listen Paul’s word again in Chapter 3.  “That by revelation the mystery was made known to me, …….. the mystery of Christ, which in other generations was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed to His holy apostles and prophets in spirit, that in Christ Jesus the Gentiles are fellow heirs and fellow members of the Body and fellow partakers of the promise through the gospel.”

Yes, this is the book of the mystery of Christ hidden but now been made known. For this Paul consider himself a prisoner of Christ with the high calling to enlighten all, he says, “that they may see what the economy of the mystery is which through out the ages has been hidden in God, who created all things. In order that now to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenlies the multifarious wisdom of God might be made known through the Church according to the eternal purpose which He made in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

This revelation is still been unveil in this age in which we live. And it is been the goal of this long life-study that we conclude today with our 75th program on the book of Ephesians.

Galatians (Program #45) – Walking by the Spirit as Sons of God (2)

2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “So then if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation…” What is the new creation? Galatians concludes with the new creation and with the kind of walk that is associated with this high point of God’s eternal plan. What is the new creation and how can we walk in such a new creation?

Have you ever felt unsatisfied, let down, even empty, after you got what you thought would make you happy?

You are not alone. This puzzling feeling has been known to strike the most accomplished and wealthy people as well as the less accomplished and less wealthy. In fact, King Solomon had it all—a kingdom, untold wealth, profound wisdom and knowledge—yet after pondering his life, he said that there was nothing new under the sun. Everything was vanity.

It is as if something compels us to find the elusive missing piece. We may pursue a successful career, meaningful relationships, material possessions, or even fun and entertainment. But nothing cures that mysterious empty feeling way down inside. Why do we feel this way?

The Bible shows us that God created man with three parts. 1 Thessalonians 5:23 says: “May your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete”. It is clear that we are not just a physical body made up of atoms. We also have a soul to think, feel, and choose. Yet hidden deep inside of us is a third part: our spirit. We thank the Lord for His Word and His faithfulness. We have now concluded the life study of both the Old Testament and the New Testament in the Bible. It has been three years since we first started the broadcast on this web site. It is our earnest desire that this open, interpreted Word would be available to all the seeking believers around the world, to know and experience the deeper truth in the Bible.

Revelation 22:21 says, “The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all the saints. Amen.” Only the grace of the Lord Jesus can enable us to live and walk according to the visions and prophecies. The entire Bible closes with this grace, the grace that enables us to experience the all-inclusive Christ and participate in the Triune God that we may become His eternal corporate expression for the fulfillment of His eternal purpose, that He and we may enjoy absolute satisfaction and complete rest mutually for eternity. Amen.

My King will soon come back again, The sky be filled with Him; The universe to be redeemed Will see His light therein. The Lord will soon fulfill His plan, His footsteps now I hear; His glorious frame I faintly see Beginning to appear. I’m longing for His presence blest And dare not slothful be While waiting for my Lord’s return, His own dear self to see. My only hope — that He may come And change my faith to sight; There is no other joy on earth Which gives my heart delight. My heart is always with Himself, My eyes are heavenward, My lips would utter nothing else Than meeting with my Lord. Thy saving arm a refuge is, My Savior God, to me; Thou as the Father keepeth them Who put their trust in Thee. The sheep and shepherd are of one, The head and body same; None e’er can pluck from out Thy hand The child who trusts Thy Name. A thousand hands won’t hinder me, Nor will ten thousand eyes; The thorns upon the road but help Me onward to the prize. Arise, my spirit and my heart, And let the world go by; The Lord of life will take me soon To be with Him on high. Thou healing sun! Thou hope of man! I really love Thy ray. Oh, righteous Lord! oh, glorious King! I bow to Thee and pray: Oh, may Thou soon ascend Thy throne And quickly show Thy face; Thy heav’nly kingdom may Thou found And grant all men Thy grace. The truth should triumph and be king, And freedom should be queen; But falsehood, which has rampant run, Head of the world is seen. We ask Thee, Truth, to quickly come And bring Thy light from heav’n; The foe be crushed and all Thy sons Into Thy bosom giv’n.

“All who are with me greet you. Greet those who love us in faith. Grace be with you all.”
(Titus 3:15)

With our last program of Song of Songs, we have now concluded all of our life study in the Old Testament. In Song of Songs, which is an extract of the whole Bible, the seeking believer, who typifies us as the seeking believers of Christ, prays to the Lord : “Draw me…” (v.2), “Let Him kiss me with the kisses of His mouth” (v.4). This shows that we need to have a personal and affectionate relationship with our dear Lord Jesus. We should tell the Lord, “Lord, draw me to Yourself. Lord, kiss me with the kisses of Your mouth.” We need to tell the Lord every day, even right now, “Lord Jesus, I love You”.  This is to be in the divine romance.  May we all give ourselves to love the Lord.

How could a country girl like me Become Your match — Your bride to be? You’re holy and You are divine But I’m fallen and human. Without You, Lord, I have no chance To be like You in this romance. But You chose me ere the world began Nothing could change Your plan. This divine romance Is My heart’s deep plan. I became a lowly man To court My country girl. As King of kings You became a man, You died for me—I’ve been redeemed, In resurrection made us queen To marry You, my King. From death You ‘rose and entered me, I now possess Your divinity; In life and nature we’re the same: Both human and divine. In Your love I’m drawn, To You I belong; I am not my own, Lord, I’m Yours alone. By Your love I’m drawn, In Your name I’m charmed, And Your Person captured me, For I’ve been kissed by Thee. Lord, in this close sweet fellowship, Lord, be with me so intimate, So personal and affectionate; A sweet relationship. Lord, daily change my inward being Lord, all my heart possessing In all my being—transforming To be Your bride and queen.
