Exodus (Program #44) – Drinking the Water of Life (2)

Not all divine secrets in the Bible are revealed in a clear and evident way.  Sometimes God reveals His secrets in a hidden way.  The Bible contains many such hidden secrets that require the Lord’s shining to see clearly.  For example, the Bible commands man to believe in order to be saved, but where does it tell us how to believe?  The Bible also tells us to eat and drink of Christ, but how do we eat and how do we drink?  Don’t miss this classic presentation on this life study.

Yesterday, we saw very strikingly that eating and drinking in the Bible are not simply metaphors for us to contemplate.  They are genuine, crucial matters revealed in Scripture.  The Lord clearly said in John that if we don’t know how to eat and drink, we will not have the eternal life in us in a practical way.  It seems that all of us as Christians need to pay our full attention to these matters.

John (Program #22) – The Need of the Hungry – Life’s Feeding (2)

I love this connection between the Spirit and the Word because it gives me a way in my daily life to come to the Lord and contact Him and feed on Him and drink Him in. So in our daily living, we have Christ as the living bread, the bread of life, the bread of God.

We come again today to chapter 6 in John.  We saw how the Lord fed the thousands and that was really to show how He meets the need of the hungry and now the disciples are fed but they have another problem.

Lamentations (Program #5) – Conclusion

The emphasis on this life study was very New Testament in flavor. In both Jeremiah and Lamentations, there are some real gems of New Testament divine thought and revelations that come through. And we touch some of these early on in this life studies. So we’d thought that it will be interesting today to pull together three portions of those earlier programs as we review these high points.
