Hebrews (Program #66) – Living According to the Law of Life and Moving According to the Anointing

Today, we will see in the book of Hebrews the crucial need of Christians today is not more teaching from the Bible, neither is it more power in the miraculous realm. The crucial need of Christians today is to know Christ in an inward way, to live Him, and to become the sons of God.

Hebrews and Romans make clear that God’s intention is to have genuine sons from among men. But, God is a divine being while we are merely human beings. This presents a major obstacle to the accomplishment of God’s purpose. The inner working of the divine life within us is our focus of today’s life study of the Bible.

Exodus (Program #149) – The Holy Anointing Oil (1) Significances

Many Christians realize that the book of Exodus gives us many types of the Savior Jesus Christ.  It’s here that we see Him as the Passover Lamb, the Heavenly Manna and the Living Water.  But another marvelous type has been nearly missed by Bible scholars and interpreters through the ages, yet God has recovered it for all of His seekers in these days.  Please set the next 30 minutes aside for an unveiling of the holy anointing oil on today’s life study of the Bible.

John (Program #27) – The Need of the Blind in Religion – Life’s Shepherding

Our good Shepherd laid down His human life for us in order that the divine life could now be imparted to us.

John 10 is the direct continuation of the events in chapter 9. And together, they form a case of the need of the blind in religion. In chapter 9, there was a man blind from birth. And, the Lord gave him sight by the Lord’s being the light of life to him and by the anointing through His speaking. This took place on the Sabbath day. And, healing on the Sabbath was something prohibited, not by God, but by the religionists.

John (Program #26) – The Need of the Blind in Religion – Life’s Sight

When we have the anointing, that is the inward speaking of the life within us. We must obey that anointing. We should always be those who are sent by the anointing to obey the living Word of God.

Witness Lee has been covering 9 specific cases in the Gospel of John. We’ve been seeing how in these cases, which are actually historic events in history, but they have a much deeper spiritual meaning, showing that Christ as life meets every man’s needs.

Exodus (Program #133) – The Sanctification of Aaron and His Sons to be the Priests (4) God’s Food, Anointing and Peace Offering and Blood

The gospel of John 1:29 contains a well-know phrase to most Christians, “behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.”  If we’ve ever enjoyed this verse, we’ve enjoyed Christ as the fulfillment of the offerings described in the Old Testament.  This realization of Christ as seen through the Old Testament in a general way is very precious to us.  But even more precious is to see the details associated with many of these Old Testament offerings.  For each of them display another marvelous facet of God’s Lamb and our Savior Christ.

John (Program #9) – An Introduction to Life and Building (5)

God’s economy is not to have a giant, litter with power to accomplish some movement. No.  God’s economy is to send His son to be the little lamb with His Spirit as the little dove.

The main subject of this message is Christ as the Lamb of God with the Spirit as the dove to produce stones for God’s building. If I would ask you, what are the main points or main things in this title?  Number one, Jesus as the Lamb of God. You have to pick up Lamb. The second point, the dove. And the third point, stone. And the fourth point, the house or the building of the house. What is the last item? The Son of Man. These are the five main points: the Lamb for redemption, the dove for anointing and uniting, the stone for material, and the house as the building, and the man as the very substance. The substantial element of God’s building is man…

Matthew (Program #11) – The King’s Anointing (4)

In a well-known exchange between the Lord Jesus and the devil, Satan tempted Him to simply perform a miracle to proof His divine status.  As the genuine and all-powerful God, this would have been easy for Him to perform a simple miracle.  But instead He answered the challenge by saying to Satan, “you shall not test the Lord, your God”.  We are going to look at 3 major tests given to the newly annointed King in Matthew chapter four.

Matthew (Program #10) – The King’s Anointing (3)

Of course we all know the story that Jesus was born as a babe in Bethlehem.  We also know that Jerusalem was the religious capital of the world in His time.  But it is interesting the Bible introducing His ministry doesn’t say that Jesus came from Bethlehem and went to Jerusalem.  Rather it says then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan.

Matthew (Program #9) – The King’s Anointing (2)

There are two basic ministries that characterize both the Old and New Testament; the ministry of the priesthood and the ministry of the kingship.  It’s interesting that in Matthew chapter 3, we see two representatives of these two basic ministries together as the age is changing.

1 John (Program #24) – The Virtues of the Divine Birth to Practice the Divine Righteousness (2)

In the epistle of first John there are three main sections. The fellowship of the divine life from the beginning of the book to 2:11. The teaching of the anointing starting in 2:12 through 2:27 and the virtues of the divine birth from 2:28 to the end of the book, 5:21.

The sequence of these three sections is important and it indicates the fellowship of the divine life and the teaching of the anointing bring us into the virtues of the divine birth.
