Leviticus (Program #32) – The Propitiation (1) & (2)

If you were asked to divulge what is the biggest problem between you and God, what would you say?  Well, then if you were asked what is the solution to that problem what would you say? The bible tells us that no matter what our problem with God is the solution is one thing and one thing only that is called propitiation.  Well, what is propitiation? We would like to look at propitiation and how it clears all of our problems with God.

Matthew (Program #34) – The Establishment of the King’s Rejection (2)

The gospel of Matthew reveals the kingdom of God.  This kingdom is the sphere or realm of God’s ruling and it has fully existed in the heavens from eternity.   But the real burden of this book is to show us that God’s desire is not just to have His kingdom in the heavens but for the reality of this kingdom to come to earth.  Getting God’s kingdom to earth is no simple matter.  Today we will see that it cannot come without the fighting and warring of His people against His enemy.

As we look at spiritual warfare from Matthew 12…

Matthew (Program #33) – The Establishment of the King’s Rejection (1)

Matthew chapter 11 concludes with the Lord Jesus calling all the ones that are burdened and toil to come to Him for rest; “My yoke is easy and My burden is light”.  This is His promise.  This wonderful promise is then followed by sequence of events that brings in the complete rejection of the King by the religious leaders of Judaism.  We will look how all these events are actually very closely related on this program today.

Leviticus (Program #31) – The Cleansing of the Discharges from Within Man’s and Woman’s Body

The book of Leviticus tells us in clear and very vivid pictures the way for us as God’s holy people to live a holy life.  There are so many helpful and practical items here that can impact our spiritual life and they are depicted in these chapters in these life study messages.  We have to say that this has been an immeasurable insight into the meaning of these passages.  We come into another remarkable portion today from Leviticus chapter 15.

The Old testament is so helpful because what we have in the Old Testament is the types, the pictures of Christ and of the spiritual life that can help us so much live the christian life…..

Leviticus (Program #30) – The Cleansing of the Leper (1) & (2)

The clear and proper understanding of Old Testament books such as Leviticus shows us pictures that portray graphically and vividly man’s true condition contaminated by sin and death.  Unclean from natural birth and leprous within and without.  This is surely man’s condition apart from God’s intervention but motivated by His great love and desire for man to be His eventual eternal counterpart. God does not leave us in such a condition.

Matthew (Program #32) – Life-Study of Hebrews Message 54 – the Unshakable Kingdom

As we continue on in the life study of Matthew, the gospel of the kingdom, we’d like to go back into our archives.  Today we are highlighting a program from the life study of Hebrews concerning the matter of the unshakable kingdom…

The earth thou seemingly very solid, can and will be shaken.  Even the heavens we gazed at are vulnerable.  But the hope of all God’s redeemed is to receive a kingdom that cannot be shaken.  What is this kingdom?  What does it mean to us?  These are the things we will see on today’s life study of the Bible with Witness Lee.

Leviticus (Program #29) – Uncleanness Issuing From Within Man (2) & (3)

Leviticus like several books in the Bible mentions the ancient disease of leprosy.  Why was leprosy given such attention in God’s revelation to mankind.  Well, leprosy is associated with one of the basic factors of man’s sinful condition and that is rebellion.  Who among us is free from rebellion? Maybe not in dramatic outward demonstrations but within even in its own most subtle manifestations rebellion lurks perpetually beneath the surface of almost every person.

Matthew (Program #31) – The Result of the King’s Ministry

By the time we come to chapter 11 of the gospel of Matthew, there are three ministries present; the ministry of the Lord Jesus, the ministry of John the Baptist, and the extension of the Lord’s ministry through His disciples.  Yet all three of these ministries are suffering rejection and persecution.  We are going to look at the rejection of the ministrie of the New Testament in today’s life study of the Bible.

Leviticus (Program #28) – Uncleanness in Human Birth

What does it mean to be clean in the eyes of God?   Does it mean that our behaviour is proper and according to His principles?  Or does it mean that we get down on our knees and determine before Him to be a better person or even a better Christian?   Well the Bible says that regardless of our behaviour or our determination there is no way to be clean if the source of what we are offering Him is the natural life we were born with regardless of how good we may think it is.   So what is God’s view of us and all mankind in our natural life?  We will see today that the very source of all human life is depicted in this riveting account in chapters 11 and 12 of Leviticus.

Matthew (Program #30) – The Enlargement of the King’s Ministry (2)

In Matthew chapter 10, the Lord Jesus appointed His 12 apostles.  Later in that chapter, He sent them out to preach the gospel of the kingdom of God, enlarging His earthly ministry.  But before He sent them out to the cities of Israel to proclaim this gospel, He first prepared them to be persecuted and rejected by both the religious and political institutions of that time.  This persecution always accompanies the enlargement of the King’s ministry.  As we once again look at the Lord’s sheep in the midst all the wolves of religions and politics.
