The real Gospel preaching is preaching from the Word of God with Christ, His person and His work as the center, and always paying attention to the leading of the Spirit by remaining in fellowship with Him moment by moment.

The book of Acts relates many marvelous stories of the experiences of the first-century believers. These stories can entertain but more important, they are a pattern, an example to us that we see from the church life as the Lord initiated it on the earth. One such story is that of the Ethiopian eunuch, and how Philip happened upon him and lead him to a full and meaningful salvation. We will pick up that story and all its meanings for us on today’s life study of the Bible.

Acts (Program #10) – The Propagation in Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria through the Ministry of Peter’s Company (5-6)

After Pentecost, there is a new creation on the earth, and that is the most monumental fact of that day. God poured out of His Spirit to create a new entity on the earth, and this is called the Church.

On the day of Pentecost, the first gospel message was preached by a New Testament apostle. Peter, standing with the eleven, unveiled a clear and prevailing word that brought thousands to Christ on that monumental day. The content of Peter’s message remains powerful today, and presents an example of gospel preaching worth our full examination. We continue that examination today on the life study of the Bible.

Acts (Program #1) – The Subject of the Book

All Christians have the idea that the Gospel needs to be preached and people need to be saved, but why is this important to God?  The book of Acts deals quite much with the spreading of the Gospel. But, a deeper investigation reveals something too marvelous and too profound; and, that is the increase for propagation of the very Christ.
