As we near the conclusion of our life study of Exodus, we come to a matter that seems to be just an Old Testament issue that is the keeping of feasts.  These feasts are presented in Exodus and several other Old Testament books.  But we would like to go back into our archives today and pick up a highlight program from the life study of Acts.  We are going to see that feasting is surely not just an Old Testament matter.

We all have heard the story of God calling Moses to Mount Sinai and gave him the ten commandments.  And while Moses was there in God’s presence, God also gave him the design and instructions for building His habitation on earth with man, the tabernacle.  This was the wonderful scene at the top of Mount Sinai.  Yet at the same time, God’s people, Israel were at the base of the mountain, worshiping at the feet of a golden idol.   What a contrast!  These two scenes will our focus on this life study program.

God’s calling is a wonderful and mysterious thing.  He calls many people to many different works.  But the highest call to all of His people, regardless of our personal interests or desires is to be fully occupied in the building up of His habitation.  In the Old Testament it was first the tabernacle and later the temple.  But today this building work and our calling is related to the church.
