Exodus (Program #146) – The Propitiation Silver (2) Formation of An Army, Need of Maturity, Interceding at the Incense Altar

After God presented the plan for the building of His portal dwelling place, the tabernacle, He then set forth provisions for its care and maintenance.  First was the offering of a half shekel of silver, a kind of tax levy upon all the adult males.  Then the same ones were to be drafted to form an army to fight for God’s move.  These same provisions are necessary today for God’s move to be carried out on earth and we will look at both on this life study of the Bible.

Precious minerals and metals have deep meaning in Scripture.  Gold points us to the holy nature of God Himself and bronze or brass typifies His righteous judgment.  Silver is also a clear type of the redeeming Christ, our Savior.  But the silver is not only meaningful for our initial redemption, it also typifies the very Christ that we experienced and then can offer to God for His satisfaction.  We will see more on today’s life study of the Bible.

But, do you realize that such a gifted one in the first century Church as seen in Acts lead many people to the Lord Jesus. He was zealous and bold, and used his gifts for the Lord. But, he was the cause of a serious problem, nearly dividing the Body of Christ: all because of his lack of the full revelation of God’s up-to-date move at that time. Are we in God’s up-to-date move today? We all must ask ourselves and the Lord Jesus this vital question.

Ezekiel (Program #7) – The High and Dreadful Wheels

Ezekiel chapter 1 with its detailed description of the four living creatures is arranged marvelously. Once we begin to see the spiritual application of all of the details associated with the four living creatures, we realize how significant this sequence is. For example, it begins with the wind, the cloud, the fire and the electrum – all figures or pictures of our progressive experience of God. Then out of these four come the four living creatures, each with four faces depicting aspects of Christ from His humanity, to His kingship, to His being a slave to come to serve God and man, and finally, to His divine transcendency. From this point, we progress to the coordination between and among the four living creatures. A coordination very much necessary if we are to enter into the next main point of God’s move on the earth for the accomplishment of His purpose.
