The apostle John gave us a long word in His first epistle about loving the brothers but right in the middle of his fellowship about love he inserts six verses in chapter four that start out,  “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but prove the spirits whether they are of God,..”

Nehemiah (Program #4) – The Reconstitution of the Nation of God’s Elect (2)

The books of Ezra and Nehemiah bear a strong intrinsic significance for the Lord’s recovery today. We should not think that the Old Testament is unrelated to us. The Bible is written in two sections – the Old Testament and the New Testament. The first section contains pictures while the second section contains the fulfillment of what is signified by the pictures. Without an intrinsic understanding of the Old Testament types, it is not easy to understand the fulfillment of God’s economy in the New Testament.

1 John (Program #24) – The Virtues of the Divine Birth to Practice the Divine Righteousness (2)

In the epistle of first John there are three main sections. The fellowship of the divine life from the beginning of the book to 2:11. The teaching of the anointing starting in 2:12 through 2:27 and the virtues of the divine birth from 2:28 to the end of the book, 5:21.

The sequence of these three sections is important and it indicates the fellowship of the divine life and the teaching of the anointing bring us into the virtues of the divine birth.

Nehemiah (Program #1) – Nehemiah’s Aggressiveness

God’s purpose is to build Himself a house and establish His kingdom on the earth. In the Old Testament the recovery books of Ezra and Nehemiah, we see three sections of God’s work. Firstly. related to the rebuilding of the temple under Zerubbabel and then the  rebuilding of the wall of Jerusalem under the leadership of Ezra and Nehemiah.
