Ephesians (Program #17) – The Triune God Dispensed Into Us and Wrought Into Us

Ephesians Chapter 1 is truly a wonderful portion of the scripture. It begins with God’s blessing to us, the believers and concludes with the Church, Body of Christ as the fullness of Christ. The implication is that everything in between, all that God in Christ has passed through and accomplished has an issue or a result and that result is the Church. But what this Chapter also reveals is that it is not just the doctrines or teachings of this marvelous things that has such an issue, it is the transmission of them by the Spirit to the Church. This transmission or dispensing is the focus of our program today.

2 Corinthians (Program #55) – Final Exhortations, Greetings, and Blessings (2)

The book of 2 Corinthians has a wonderful conclusions.  Paul after unveiling so many aspects of his own living and his own experience of Christ in this book, concludes with this 3-fold blessing.  2 Corinthians 13:14 “The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.”  But this is not a blessing given in a merely religious way.  It’s a blessing that brings us into the very Triune God that Paul himself experienced, enjoyed and even lived out in his daily life.  Grace, love and fellowship were his portion and daily enjoyment of the very Triune God.  May we have Him as such a portion as well.

Job (Program #10) – The All-Inclusive Spirit as the Consummation of the Processed and Consummated Triune God

The book of Philippians refers in chapter 1 to the bountiful supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ in verse 19. By which we live Christ, magnify Christ, pursue Christ and gain Christ. By this bountiful supply of the Spirit we can count everything as loss and as refuse. Because Job did not have this Spirit, he was overly sensitive toward God and toward his friends. He had no joy and he never rejoiced. But the apostle Paul having this Spirit, rejoiced even in prison according to Acts 16:25.

Romans (Program #68) – The Processed God Being the Law of the Spirit of Life

Today we will see a particular term the law of the Spirit of life in Romans chapter 8 which tells us how the Triune God is transforming the tripartite man.

One of the wonderful verses in the New Testament tells us that the law of the Spirit of life has freed us from sin and from death. It may seems strange that a law frees us from sin and from death. We will explore this freeing law of life on today’s life study.

For our final three programs in Romans we come back to chapter 8 and revisit some of the real highlights of this crucial chapter in all of Scripture.

Romans (Program #63) – The Life of the Triune God Dispensed into the Tripartite Man

Today in our study of Romans we come to a fact that is described as God dispensing Himself into man. How He does that and why He does that is the subject of our program.

A word that clearly presents the Triune God in His economy with three parts of man and God in His dispensing.

Romans (Program #61) – The Dispensation of the Triune God for the Fulfillment of His Purpose

Today we come to one of the treasures hidden in the depths of God’s word. God work to change or transform man fully into His image can only be accomplished through a process. This process is sometimes call God’s economy or God’s dispensation. What is it all about?

We use the word “dispensing” before on this program but we are really going to focus on it today. What the Biblical background for this word.  Does it ever appear directly in the New Testament?

Romans (Program #56) – Designation by the Mingled Spirit

What we need today is the practical way for us, the Christians, to contact the Lord. As we call upon the name of the Lord Jesus, we touch the Spirit, who is the realization and application of the Triune God.

We may study electricity as a science and learn all of the theoretical truths concerning it, but until we find the switch and turn it on in our own home, it has no application to us. This is a graphic illustration of the Christian life that we have been seeing in the marvelous book of Romans. We’re going to focus on the switch today on our Life-Study of the Bible with Witness Lee.

Romans (Program #3) – The Gospel of God

Through His incarnation, the Triune God became a man, Jesus Christ, to be among us. Through His death and resurrection, He became the life-giving Spirit to be within us.

Our life study today brings us to Romans chapter 2.  Romans is a gospel because Paul calls it that.  What does he mean by this?  If Romans is a gospel, how is it differ from the four traditional gospels? more…

John (Program #50) – Life in Resurrection (1)

John 1:14 says, the Word became flesh. That means the Word, who was God, became something that He previous was not. When God came out of eternity into time to accomplish His plan, He became flesh. In this sense, God did change.

When we cover these two aspects (God being unchanging and God having changed), what we’re touching is the mystery of the Divine Trinity. So, what we need to do is look at the entire Bible and just say Amen to whatever the Bible says about the Triune God. On the one hand, you know people uses this verse Malachi 3:6, which says that God changes not. And, this is true. But of course, if you look at the context of Malachi 3:6, it’s talking about that God changes not in his principles, in the way that He deals with His people. But also, we know that the Bible shows that God in His eternal being is unchanging. The Bible reveals that the Triune God, the three of the Godhead. On the one hand, they are distinct. The Father, the Son, and the Spirit are eternally distinct, but they also co-inhere. That means that they mutually indwell one another. The Father is in the Son. The Son is in the Father. The Father is in the Spirit. more…

John (Program #44) – Life’s Prayer (3)

We are one divine human incorporation in the Triune God. Surely, our Oneness is not just a “getting together” or a kind of “joining something”. It is the Oneness of the Triune God.

In John 17, you have a list: 4 verses, mentioning something of the Oneness. Verse 11 says, the Oneness is in the name of the Father. The reality of the Father’s name is the Father’s divine life. So, the first factor of the genuine Oneness is the name of the Father with the Father’s divine life. Then verse 21, this is deep verse, so profound! “That they all may be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us; that the world may believe that You have sent Me.” The point here is this. The Oneness is in the Triune God. When we are all in the Triune God, then in the Triune God, we have the Oneness. But, here we have to pay attention to this fact. How could we be in the Triune God? Through His death and resurrection…
